Because gay men run the fashion industry and they make the girls look like young boys. I dont say this to be anti-gay. I wish th models were juicy.

In the fashion industry, i would prefer they use slender models. It's easier on the eyes. Lastime, they used to have models looking healthy (Tyra banks, Cindi Crawford etc). Nowadays, they're using more skeletons on the catwalk. For fashion shots, clothes definitely look better on slim bodies. The so called plus sizes just don't look good for me, or maybe it's because our perception of beauty have been fixed by all those years of looking at thin people in TV and magazines. Model's look good wearing clothes, but they don't look good naked with all those bones sticking out. And it's a fact that women starve themselves to look good with clothes on, just like the models.

because like what has been saud already the fashion industry tries to give women the illusion that they are ugly becuase they have an ouce of fat on they're body which is stupid.
besides im a male and i think woman dont look sexy when they are thin as supermodels. on a side note hen women try to be that thin they actually store more fat becuase women were ment to have babys and when they dont eat to get skinny when they do eat the body goes crazy trying to keep fat for thebaby even if there isnt one.

Because the sad truth is that men DO like models. Yes, they say they like breasts and butts, but they also like them on a playboy playmates body. I know a lot of guys who will only date skinny women. Most of the time guys just wont say that to women, cos they get chastised for it. I think it's terrible, being a curvy one myself, but that's how it is. It's human instinct to want the fittest mate, and some men see stick figures as fit.

Basically Yes, women shop more and buy more clothes than men. Therefore women dont want to look fat thus they dont use bigger models. If we see a size 14 mini skirt, we are 99% less likely to buy it then if it were on a size 2. I think models should weigh at least 115, and if they dont they they dont walk.

i guess so...,but stick thin is not sexy...they need to have some curvy girls to fill out the sexy clothing and lingerie and show off some hips, boobs, thick pretty legs and a booty...that would be a great advertisement...and people would really want what they are wearing..take care...skinny is ugly, cury is definetly sexy...guys dont want to see a girls actual skeleton...they want meat on it

Ive got to tell ya I think that they need to make super models out of woman that weigh at least 160 lbs. on up I cant stand skinny chicks. Like my ex wife was skinny. It wasnt until I got rid of her that I realized that big girls rule. and big girls are freakier. BIG IS BEAUTIFUL.
AND TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTION HALF OF THE JUDGES THAT WORK AT THESE FASHION SHOWS FOR THESE MODELS ARE NORMALLY GAY. SO THERE SENSE OF TASTE IS GENETICALLY SCREWED UP ANYWAYS ITS NOT THEIR FAULT....LOL.
