Hello everybody,

I am going to flight from USA to Asia next week and I have never been in Los Angeles LAX or Phoenix, AZ PHX airports. I will need to change planes in both airports.

Have anybody transited any of these airports? Could you share your experiences? Was it easy & friendly to transit? How about the signs? Distance between terminals?

Thank you for your answers!

L.A. is tougher than Pheonix Sky Harbor.

Terminal four LAX (Tom Bradley) has majority of international flights. You will likely come into a domestic terminal and need to transfer. There is the red bus, outside curb bottom level, or just walk. Takes about 20 minutes max to get to T4 from anywhere inside LAX

Skyharbor is easier...lots of indoor links between terminals and moving sidewalks. Skyharbor is large so again figure 20 minutes max and pay attention to gates since each terminal has two and soemtimes three wings, just focus on gate and look up for signs. Won't be a big deal.

Los Angeles is not all that huge, you should be o.k. Make sure about the location of the terminal is. You will most likely come to domestic side. Find out that the international flight u are taking is from Tom Bradley International or other. Tom Bradley is adjacent to other terminals. For Tom Bradley you have to go to the end. I have been to Phoenix too. I am sure u will not have a problem. Make sure you ask the workers at the airport to direct you.
