Create a paypal account which gives you an additional level of protection but, you will likely only be able to use it at ebay.com.
Also, make sure to scrutinize the site that you wish to purchase something from. Some of them have the option to pay by electronic check.

I ti s basically impossible to buy things online without using a credit or debit card.
You can get a paypal account, and pay for stuff from there, but you have to put the money into it somehow, either by transfering it directly from your bank account, or with a credit/debit card/
If the store (or whatever) is reputable, its not all that dangerous to use a credit card online. There are also credit cards that have special features to make online shopping easier, I believe most of the big credit card companies have some sort of security feature for online purchases by now.
Check with your credit card company.

Umm, you could set up a pay pal, but i think that stills needs a credit card. And comon its the 21t century, whats wrong with using a credit card? But mst website allow for mail in check and maybe even money orders. You would have to look and see.

Paypal. You can transfer money from your bank account to make payments with paypal. Many online websites accept Paypal, however the big name shops usually don't.
