Heres an easy way that mght work. Woman usually ovulate fourteen days after the first day of their last period. So if your last period start date was nov 18 06 then you are starting to ovulate dec 2 06. that is how the doctors gauge it anyways when a women gets pregnant but there are about three days in there that you ovulate for so it would go from about dec 2 to dec 5..get what im saying? WHen ovulating you will also have more clear discharge then normal and you body temperature goes up aswell.

Check out a book called Taking Charge of Your Fertility by Toni Weschler. It will tell you how to identify your fertile body signs. Basic info though is: Cervical fluid that looks and feels like raw egg whites. Your actual cervix will become high, soft and open (which makes sex more comfortable). Your temperature will rise immediately after you ovulate. Some women notice a peak in sexual interest in activity. You can also try ovulation prediction kits... these will give you a good idea of when ovulation COULD be approaching.

Women are most fertile 5-6 days before they ovulate. A really good way to know when you are most fertile is by monitoring your vaginal discharge. In the 5 days leading up to ovulation, your body produces more discharge. This is the best time to have sex if you are trying to get pregnant.

When you are off of any birth control, you need to know how long your cycle is. Most women ovulate in the middle of that cycle but is can be different for each woman. You normally will have some whitish discharge when ovulating and maybe even some pain in the bottom left or right side of your stomach (pelvis) when you are ovulating. You can get ovulation test kits at your local pharmacy to check to see when you are actually ovulating also.

I am having a hard time getting pregnant so I have done lots of research on this. Now it sounds gross but reach up there and touch your cervix. It will be low when you are on your period and for a fews days after. Then it will suddenly go high so you can't even touch it. That is the best time to have sex it opens up wide for about 3-4 days. Then it will close and drop (that means you ovulated) have sex on that day then after that it's the waiting game. It's kind of like this:
_ _ -- _ I don't know if that makes sense but it is the best way to go about it. Don't just guess, know! Ihope that helps and good luck!
