A university professor's private life should remain private. If a professor is breaking the rules of employment (in a Christian university he undoubtedly would have agreed to a code of conduct), then it is up to the university administration to take the appropriate action but they should not make his problems public.

The answer is a resounding NO. It's no more relevant that is the private lives of students. All that matters is whether or not the professor is doing his or her job and doing it well. Now if something in a professor's private life begins negatively impacting his or her teaching, then that's different. But that would be between the professor and his or her supervisor (Dean, Dept. Head, etc.).
Private life is something we're all entitled to and what we choose to do on our own time is our own business, nobody elses!

To some degree, it may depend on what the professor is doing... if you are aware that a professor is sexually abusing young children, you should definitely make the info public. If you want to praise a professor for his/her accomplishments outside the university, go ahead and make it public. However, if you merely want to expose a professor's private life to cause him/her embarrassment/defamation of character, please refrain from engaging in child-like behaviors.

No, I don't feel that their private life should be made public.
If the professor is engaging in unprofessional or unethical conduct, that should be referred to and investigated by an academic review board.
