any time bbbachan sir is forced to retire.....he is not rocking anymore the TVR's (rating points were dipping)....no better replacement that SRK......he is the current super star with 4-5 times more in the popularity charts...way to go man...the show is going to rock........we seen SRK in Don....he is done a good job....obviously not upto AB standards.....but imagine AB doing a DDLJ ....YU CAN GO BACK IN THE TIME MACHINE AND THINK..it will be a comic strip.....

well i am a diehard fan of SRK, not so with amitabh as i havnt seen much of him but still would prefer mr.bachhan.
he has tht kinda experience nd ability 2 communicate wid all types f ppl.
my vote goes for amitabh (juss KBC)

I don't know what the hype is with Amitabh and why he's just so god damn respected and blah blah blah, he's just another Indian actor and to be honest with you I have never been a fan of his, there was way more talent out there in his time like Vinod Khanna, Shatrugan Sinha, Rajesh Khanna and my personal favourite of all time Anil Kapoor. Anil Kapoor is one of the best actors I have seen.
And to answer your question Shah Rukh Khan is a way better actor than Amitabh Bachan.
