I would vote for the candidate that represents the American people as we are all in this together and not every man for himself.

First of all the phrase "Liberal Leadership" seems a bit oxymoronic...lol However, if we were talking about the Liberals of old, who actually were pretty anti-govt, I would seek someone who would see the best in America, who would be strong enough to be willing to defend our country. A person who would not see the USA as the center of the world's problems, but rather as what it is, a very giving country willing to defend and shed blood to help others. I would also look for an old style Liberal who was not afraid to rebuke the far Left and it's excessive hatred. I would look to a man who would see the USA as a country, not just of a collection of groups, and would see that actual borders need to be defended. Such a person would see illegal immigration as a bad thing for the working man who was at one time such a huge part of the Democrat party. He would seek legal immigration to people who wanted to be United states CITIZENS, not just flag waving illegals seeking free benefits and screaming "AZTLAN".
I am not sure such a person exists, however.

Good leadership, liberalist, pro-abortion, anti-republicanism and a woman like Hillary Clinton.
