Almost Every Sports Commentator alive: Michigan over Florida

I hear it at the bars. I hear it at parties. I hear it at the dinner table. I hear at work. I've even heard it in person out of the mouth of 9 out of 11 OHIO STATE fans (yes, really), and the two where just band wagon kids in high school.

The only thing that doesn't hear it is the BCS- and computers don't have ears! (microphones don't have opinions).

Carr was 100 percent correct when he pointed out Sunday night: "[Florida] would not have moved ahead of us had USC won its game" It's true. No one would have bothered re-ordering No. 3 and No. 4.

Another 3 pt. game against college football's biggest rivals or a landslide victory over Florida" local Ruby Tuesday bar tender.

Obviousely the administrators weren't paying attention to the Aubern upset two years ago.

I don't buy the "OSU made mistakes that kept Michigan in the game" bullsh*t. Michigan made plenty of their own mistakes that kept them fron winning. Namely the boneheaded roughing call that kept OSU's TD drive alive. Anyway, that aside, Tressel didn't vote because he didn't want Michigan again. He knew he had a better shot at beating Florida. The only way to end the controversy is a playoff system!

I'd like some mild cheddar to go with your whine.

Lovely that your little voters who have no knowledge of how to rank teams all voted for Michigan, all the while probably missing the fact that their "3-point loss to Ohio State" should have been a lot bigger except that OSU made enough dumb mistakes to keep them in the game. All the while missing Michigan barely pulling out wins over teams as bad as Northwestern and Minnesota, or almost getting beaten by a very bad Ball State team.

Guess you all missed that Florida beat 9 teams who were at or above .500, while Michigan only beat 6, or that only 4 teams on Michigan's schedule actually had winning records, and one of those was Central Michigan. Guess you missed where Florida beat 3 teams currently in the top 25, while Michigan only beat 2.

Either that, or the macadamia nuts you guys use for brains just can't comprehend anything beyond "They only lost by 3 at Ohio State, while Florida lost to Auburn by 10."

We do need a playoff, but your lameass whining won't get by the fact that the Gators have more right to be in Glendale than the Wolverines do.

Michigan will have to take out their frustration on USC, who lost to a team that was barely over .500 (6 wins, 5 loses). The Rose Bowl will probably end up being the best bowl game.

Personally, I think the 2 best teams are playing each other. USC had no business going even with a UCLA win. They lost to a worthless Diaper Conference team. Michigan, you had your chance and lost so move over and let another team have a shot.

And by the way, Florida will win. OSU wont stop Urban and his bag of tricks. Tebow will be Heisman winner in 3 years. And this is coming from an FSU fan for life and Gator hater. Just being honest.

nicely, if it have been as much as the writers it may well be Ohio State - Notre Dame. actual i might p.c. to confirm TCU- Cincinnati. shall we've some thing different than an SEC group. and that i'm a Texas fan. i'm particularly uninterested in the comparable communities getting ranked severe at first of the season. they'd desire to attend till after the 1st convention video games a minimum of.

I think Michigan would probably beat Florida. But the BCS isn't about who's #2; it's about who's #1.

You would think in a great country such as ours they'd get their sh*t together and get some kind of a playoff system. Maybe this year's controversy is what it took to get that done. Yeah right...the BCS will live on and screw up college football for as long as we all shall live.
