Assuming that you are using a router to protect your pc you can shut down the port (Port 25) so that outgoing email can't leave your local network. Are you trying to prevent a specific type of email like Outlook Express? You could uninstall that too.

I don't know what firewall you are using, but with a firewall you can block your email program. Somewhere in the firewall program is a list of trusted applications, such as email. It might have certain "permissions." that is to Allow, Block, or Ask Permission. There are good free firewalls like Zone Alarm that has this feature. Best of luck.

As with lots stuff in existence one might want to watch for an invitation. I completely believe you yet then perhaps i'm doing something different as i do not get the random junk pictures. i have had to ask for junk pictures yet i have actual gotten 'high quality' over volume. And no knuckles yet an really manly fist and thumb.

You can remove the email program. If you are using Outlook Express, just go into your Control Panel, click on Add/Remove programs, select Add/remove Windows components from the menu on the left side, then deselect Outlook Express. That should remove it from your system.

*edit
misread the question

you will want to get a firewall and ban port 25

or "start" - "run" - type "msconfig"
then on the last tab disable microsoft office or whatever program your using

good luck

Block outgoing requests on port 25 (SMTP), as the above posters have said.
