kenmore microwave oven cause of house to burn down dont know model no fire dept said they have seen severl house with same oven burn oven cause of fire

Your microwave could have been made by any of several companies as Sears/Kenmore does not make anything but just has their name put on the appliances. Kenmore is the Sears store brand name.

If you have an older home and you don't have a surge protector on any of your appliances than the insurance company may blame you for not taking the proper steps. Today the inspectors are making sure people have the proper codes up to date in there home. I have a 40 year old home but we have had all the wiring brought up to date the proper codes to comply with today and put surge protectors on all of appliances. Even all my plumbing was brought up to date. You have to proptect yourself from things like this.

I've written before that I will never buy a Kenmore product after having terrible service from a Kenmore washer--the appliance from hell.

it may not have been the appliance, but the wiring in your house. if you had an older home, with low amp circuit protection fuses someone may have shoved a gum wrapper or a penny between a burned out fuse and the fuse box.
