No thanks. This Liberal is completely against busing. Busing only ensures that inner city/minority school continue to lose critical funding and their best athletes basically get recruited to the suburban school districts to bring them the state championships.

These kids find themselves bused out of areas like North St. Louis into the suburban St. Louis County Parkway school districts where they are the star atheletes and then have to return to their own neighborhoods riddled with crime that makes St. Louis the #1 most dangerous city in the nation.

School diversity benefits no one. It destroys the central focus of any community, which are its schools. Busing was never a good idea and the money wasted on such a stupid idea could have been spent to bring urban school districts up to snuff with their suburban counter-parts.

The whole topic makes my stomach hurt.

Bussing would not be needed if schools in minority communities received the same funding as schools in white communities. Why do they not want to fund minority schools? Are white people scared of competition in an environment of equality? Do they fear what happened in sports will happen in other aspects of society so they intentionally under fund minority schools? Do they need to maintain an advantage to maintain power? Poor oppressed white males.
