I have bought a few over the years, never made any money. I tried Amway, Melalueca too and they were too hard to keep up. Do these types of things really make some wealthy?
I know some of the late night money making gurus have gotten into legal trouble but has any of it ever worked for anybody?

I give you credit for taking the initiatives to find your own path to financial independence. But like most posters here, apparently it works for those people whos' selling your these programs and signing you up to these programs. like amway, etc. but they would make your sponsor or their sponsor money. I would say nothing beats the old fashion way. Earn a decent income, if not big income, and still living a frugal lifestyle. Invest in Real estate, if you do at no down, the market has to be going up.. Otherwise, you will be in trouble, like the current downturn in the housing market. Flipping properties is now not what it was 1-3 years ago.... but you never know in the world of business because maybe you have an edge, a secret weapon/know how.. But I don't know about these late night "get wealthy" kits, because you're there's a reason they are being marketed to these category of audience.. You end up making them money. I've seen people make $$ on very little down or no money down on real estate. But they had paid them in other ways, and they were lucky as they were just riding the market as it's heading up. Good luck.

I will say yes, they do make money but not for everybody. Because we are all different and our desires, motivations, and beliefs are different as well, not everybody will do as they suggest.

Do the techniques work? Sure they do. But they know as well as you, that all they have to do is show you it works, you buy the program and they have done what they set out to do.

From that point, it is up to you as to what you do. How much will you apply?

So if something appeals to you, then try it, only if you will follow the techniques and apply them as directed. Then you will most likely make some money.

They work for Carlton Sheets. I doubt they work for anyone else.
