I don't know... but I'm working on convincing my parents to stop smoking with the information in the ads. I absolutely hate that they smoke though... but it made them smoke outside now so they don't let other people get second hand smoke.

Well I don't smoke, nor do I know anybody really close to me who does smoke, but I can honestly tell you that a bunch of my friends have said that those commercials gave them even more of a reason to not smoke.
But no, I haven't heard of it actually helping anybody quit.

Not yet, but I'm a singer and that guy singing through his throat has really given me a visual incentive.. Can't see me up on stage in a sexy black dress and cute little heels singing like that!

I think the idea is to keep young people from starting up.
Another way to do that is to keep an eye on your kids and know who they hang out with.
