See your doctor. A home test may give a false result. If you are pregnant as you doc to do an ultrasound to confirm things are going great. I had 2 miscarriages before I got pregnant with my son. With him I waited until I heard his heartbeat @ 12 Weeks before I told anyone but my husband.

I have to correct the first answerer, home tests are extremely reliable, however I don't know about how they would react in this situation. My guess is that 4 weeks would be long enough but I dont know for sure.
if you wait 2 or 3 weeks in addition and you are up to 7 weeks since the miscarriage I think that would be long enough that the miscarriage would not play an effect on the test. good luck I hope I can offer you a little piece of mind here.

Sorry for your loss. I lost my baby at 8 weeks and was told not to have sex for atleast a month after my D&C but that only lasted 2 weeks. Well when I went back to the Dr. I was pregnant!!! I had a feeling I was because I would smell fried food and want to throw up. And yes my pregnancy test was positive. That baby is now 11 years old and growing into a handsome young man. Good luck and I bless this baby to grow strong and healthy in your womb. God Bless you and your family.

If you're feeling any "symptoms" of being pregnant it is from your last pregnancy. It takes your body a few weeks for your HCG levels to go back to 0. It's not possible for you to be pregnant already. I lost a baby at the beginning of September and it took me until towards the end of November for my HCG levels to go below 5. When you have a miscarriage or ectopic you need to use protection until after your first cycle post loss. Your body needs time to heal.

Did you have to have a D&C with your miscarrage or did you pass it on your own? I also had a miscarriage during my first pregnancy and they told me to make sure I had at least 1-2 normal period before trying to get pregnant again to make sure your body is ready. I have since had a healthy baby girl who is 4 and now on my second pregnancy at 24 weeks.
My advice is to wait until you have your first ultrasound to make sure the baby is ok and heartbeat is good before you tell friends and family. I know it is hard to wait, but it is better than having to retell them that you lost it if you have a miscarriage (as I did with my first one).

Please go to the doctor and have a test. This will set your mind at ease because the tests you buy in the shops are not that reliable.
Just because you had on miscarriage has nothing to do with your getting pregnant again and delivering a full term child.
This also happened to me and no one knows joy as much as a mom who has lost a baby and then been given a second chance to nurture a life full term.

If there is not any heartbeat and you do no longer start to certainly miscarry, the surgeon will time table a D&C, to do away with the toddler. i think of that some greater money would be well worth it, so as that years down the line you do no longer could stay with the term 'abortion' on your reminiscence. Your surgeon could provide you some thing which will commence the bleeding technique as a substitute, not sure. i wish each thing seems ok, if worse incorporates worse, i'm sorry to your loss. stable luck.

I want to tell you how very sorry I am about your loss. I wish you all the best. I don't think I would tell family & friends that you're pregnant again until you're far enough along to show.
