DNA replication is the frame of mind of DNA being copied to make extra DNA. Transcription is the frame of mind of DNA being study and RNA being made in accordance with that particular DNA strand. Translation is taking the RNA purely made and utilising it to make a protein. One DNA strand can make as many copies of RNA because it needs, and one RNA strand can make as many proteins because it needs. each cellular will take advantage of different parts of the DNA with a view to make what it needs in that particular ecosystem.
