I don't think women are having many children nowadays, compared to years ago when having at least 4 children was common. As of 2000, the average family size was 3.14.

i have 6 at 25........some women are just irresponsible, as i was when falling pregnant with my first at 15yo, but i grew up quick an made alot of sacrifices for my daughter and realised what a blessing a child is an just fell in love with being a mother, my partner (an father of all 6) wasn't always around an we did end it a year ago in the best interest to keep our friendship an raise our children together regardless of whether or not we shared the same bed, for he shared my joy an love for our blessings as much as i did. so i basically think there is nothing at all wrong with a big family (singled or coupled) as long as you have all the requirements to meet such needs....financially and emotionally and the love time and patients for the life you have brought into the world an are surly responsible for. but that's just my honest opinion.

well for starters. if that is how u feel about it maybe guys should do there part and not trust a woman like alot do. and why does that even matter to u to start with. i have 3 kids. i would love to have more but i made that choice not to have any more! do to finical. I'm a stay home mom and i love being a mom. they keep me going. I'm not on welfare or wic or anything like that. some ppl just want a free ride and look at it as easy money. but they don't take care of them. some ppl should be aloud to have them. and what is so many kids to u to start with?

I agree with the stats that fewer women are having FEWER babies. Large families are on decline.
I disagree that "poor sex education" or "young" is a reason/fault when there are large families! In some cases yes but not all! I have 5 children and I am not on welfare/WIC or any state/government benefit programs. I am married to their father and am a stay at home mom. We are a Christ filled home, and I believe my children are a blessing!

there has been a upswing in birth following 9-11, its a natural phase after a tragedy to try and find a re-affermation of life.

Where you get that idea from??.. Nowadays no woman wanna give birth more than 2..and that if she wanna have kids. Mostly woman especially educated one don wanna have kids!
