Remember "The Blair Witch Project" movies? They weren't true. A good storyteller (fictional storytelling, that is) will write his or her story in such a way as to make it SEEM to be true. This is usually accomplished by "weaving" half-truths or outright lies in such a manner as to make it SOUND or FEEL true.

There are only a certain number of people around the world who believe there are secret codes "weaved" into Leonardo Davinci's artwork. Is it possible? ANYTHING is possible, but not everything is true. Truth dictates an irrefutable point which can NOT be disproven. The truth that I am male is blantantly obvious. The truth that you are curious about something like this is obvious.

There have been some people through the ages that believe the Holy Bible has secret "codes" or textual messages hidden within it's pages. You count a certain number of characters using a certain formula, and WHAMO, a secret message.

BUT, mathematics will prove that this formula can be used with ANY text. Perhaps my post has a secret message hidden within..I don't believe that it does, but, some might. Using whatever mathematical formula that is used to find "embedded" messages, you can decode supposedly "secret" messages from any book..It's not exclusive to just the Bible.

Something like this is just a distraction, or, at the very least, a fanciful way of riveting readers or moviegoers to their seats. A good storyteller makes you, through his or her words, believe you're actually there in the story, they can evoke emotions with just the right placement of words or terms or mental imagery. This is why many throughout the centuries have spoken "The pen is mightier than the sword"..THAT is the truth..If you got "involved" within the storytelling of this particular movie, then the author clearly enjoys what he does. A cut-rate author just, more or less, throws a haphazard story together, and hopes for it to be a success.

It's not intrinsically wrong to wonder "what if..?". NASA wondered "what if"..and now look how many astronauts have been in space? Stephen King wondered "What if...?" when he wrote all of the books he's written..

Hon..this is all possible, meaning there's a chance it could happen..but, don't bet on it. Go for what has been proven beyond any doubt.

I subscribed to a couple of podcasts where they examined things in The DaVinci Code and there were things about this that were misinterpreted, but there really are Gnostic Gospels and there is a big coverup with the books that were omitted from the Bible.

I don't know about any active shadow groups, but it hardly seems likely in this day and age.

if we will base it on the so-called facts presented on the book and in the movie, you can actually believe that it might have actually happended. I myself was almost convinced and somehow doubted if everything in the Bible is true. But in this very intellectual modern day world, anybody can create a story as big and complicated as Dan Brown and people will still buy it.

Keep your faith my dear.Ü

There are many truths to the story. It was made for entertainment purposes, but it's possible for something along those lines to be fact.

Then again, anything is possible.
