I'm a white person, but I do not know the answer... I do not know the answer, because it's not something that white people do... it's just something that certain white people do. I totally understand how racist comments like ones I see floating around on Answers can upset you. Just understand that the people making those comments are uneducated idiots who have nothing better to do than upset people for jollies. Instead of asking how white people can be racists, how about asking how certain individuals can be such idiots.

Its just the few white people who are racist, keep in mind that not all of them are racist, only the annoying and insensitive few. Try to calm yourself down, its not worth getting angry over the few racist idiots on this site.
And user 'qualityiswonderful', while I understand that this question is not so clear, what do you have against 14 year olds? Your answer is somewhat offensive to me, taking that I am of that age.

I'm not trying to focus on them but either report or ignore them. You can't help your case with profanity if you want Yahoo cleaned up from racist comments. (as I do) You make it difficult for me to be your ally because I hate both racism and profanity so if I report one for name calling your race how can I not report your profanity? Why don't everyone stick with productive questions for all to enjoy the interchanges regardless of differences. BTW, I think you have some decent responses here.

LOL.... um... I think many people are inherently racist whether they think so or not. In fact, I think people of all races are racist to a certain degree or extent. Ever notice how most of us feel more comfortable around our own race? I look white... but I'm mixed... and other Natives call me white and judge me like I'm uptight or rich or whatever they think white people are. I face prejudices in my own group: the one that ISN'T white.

you cant put ignorant people in a group of races....truth is....all races have racist/ ignorant people in it. there are some racist blacks, whites, Italians....any other group you can think of. the fact is, people are afraid of what they dont know. and the people that are not willing to get to know someone other than their own "kind" are limiting themselves and not allowing their minds come to grip with the fact that in may ways we are all alike....and the ways that make us differ, are just as interesting.
