I just saw her performance on the Billboard show. Damn, my ears are still burning from that "singing".........for a lack of a better word.

I loved No Doubt, and some of Gwen's earlier solo stuff but she's just been getting worse and worse. And yeah, I like Black Eyed Peas and P*ssy Cat Dolls but it's the same story with Fergie and Nicole. Even Justin Timberlake sucks solo...

Why would you lose respect for Gwen for going solo, she went solo and she did an awesome job as well as for the others ... meh... they suck.
Btw, she's going back to No Doubt.

No way. I think Gwen is adorable, not to mention that she is so real and down to earth in person. We're both from the same area of OC (Anaheim), and I love that she has little pieces of that loyalty to her roots in her songs and stuff.
I personally have loved No Doubt since before they were ever mainstream or even "popular" or whatever. Being from the same area, I knew about them and saw them play before all that. I loved her then, I love her now. And Kingston is adorable!

well to the first person person that commented....nicole did not go solo she is making her own cd but she is still with pcd...and yeah i have lost respect for gwen stefani

not that i was ever a fan of some blonde bimbo, but man, i would really like to know who listens to her solo music?? like somoene out there actually bought the cd, put it in their player and listened to that??? that isnt music, thats an elementary marching band with a horrible over the hill singer and bad dancing...and uhhh does anyone notice she yoddles?? what the hell!!

Yeah, i thought she was way better when she was with No Doubt. Her music is definitely not as good solo. I saw her on the Billboard awards tonight and that performance was nothing short of awful!

Never really cared but my daughter was watching videos today and Gwen was just saying words along to a drum machine & dancing like countless other videos.....nothing new....just more crap music these days!!

Definitely, and she wont get it back for years.
It was like when Shaq and Kobe tried to have rapping careers.
It took me 3 NBA titles for them to regain my respect.
