I need to respond to a vendor's e-mail within 15 seconds or someone else gets the job! What is the fastest way to get & resond to an e-mail.. Is Yahoo the fastest?? What I do now is set my Yahoo messenger to notify me when I receive an email and then immediately go to the email and try to "accept" the job but, even if that all takes only seconds... Somebody else is getting the job! How do I get the jump on everybody!! Please Help!!!!!!!!

Sorry this will be no help,,
But EMAIL is Not "instant",,it's not even fast,,
sometimes it can take several minutes.

What you might be experiencing is "Stale Mail",
It could be several minutes Old before you even receive it.

I never heard of any sort work lead or dispatch method that required that kind of instant response......which means nothing that I never heard of it.

But to try to get execution speed you are needing for that,,
EMAIL wont dont do it.
Nothing about it is made to be fast,,let alone "instant".

The lag and slow downs are between the Sender and Recipient.
A faster Computer,or internet service speed wouldnt help.

That's part of the reason for all the Instant Messengers and Real-Time Live Chat....so folks can communicate in a more natural pace.

Emailing a 2 minute conversation back & forth ,,,
might cover 10 minutes total time on Email,,maybe more.
I could ask you a question,,,it might be 2 or 3 minutes before you even get it.

For communications>response times that quick,,,You gotta use some kinda live/instant messenger.

Good Luck,,,maybe somebody else knows a way to get>reply to email that quick.
????

I think I would look for a different job. I'm not currently aware of any auto-reply feature on sites such as yahoo, but it really wouldn't matter. When you receive an email, that doesn't mean that everyone else receives it at the same time as you. Some may have gotten it 30 seconds, or 4 minutes, ect before or after you. Email does not deliver at a "set speed" to every recipient. You have to take routing issues/etc into account. If I were you, I think I'd just look for a different type job. Something like that sounds like a scam anyway.

i would never take a job with a vendor/employer that uses email to solicit job applicants. its an unreliable form of communication. ALL Reputable companies always COTNACT via telephone if they need an answer and follow that up with your contract in the mail on next day delivery. Because of delivery times, server problems, or your ISP just rejecting it as spam.

the job isn't worth it
