You could lighten them with peroxide, I have never done this so I don't know exactly how you do it, but I know many women do it for their upper lip. You probably should wait till the rash clears and check with someone who has done it.

Well there is nothing to get embarrased.
Please its all normal u have thick hair because its ur hormonal growth this way and plus as you say u haven't waxed before .
Well I tell something that whenver it's ur first time apply some kind of cream like Veet or stuff like that.
People say that waxing is better for skin as it removes tanning and stuff.
But don't forget it is painful and very hard for a 14 year old skin to bear. i.e why u have got rashes.
As it is ur first u shud be regular in removing ur hair and when u'll do it for about say 5 - 6 times with a gap of atleast 10 days u will see that ur hair growth has lessened till a large extent and it will really make ur skin adapted to ur hairless body.
Don't ever use Scissors
For tom.
U shud apply hair removal cream and then apply baby oil and sleep .
In morning ur arm will look really nice, clean and soft
So don't worry At all

Hair does to grow back thicker, maybe not darker. I mean, before I started shaving i didn't have any thing to worry about, now, within 24 hours i have a freakinhg beard because I had to shave all the time for jrotc. yea, it sucks, and i'm sorry to say but you have started a terrible process. the hair on your arms will grow back thicker and all that great stuff. I also have hairy arms but i'm a guy so it doesn't really matter. however in your case, i would iether A. get one of those Underarmor lond sleeve shirts (its freaking december, you can get away with that) or use one of those beard shavers. you can set it so it doesn't like shave down to your skin but like just trims. Anyway, as far as tonight. (sigh) it hink thats about all you can do. one day you'll laugh about this, i promise, one time I shaved my chest because I had a pool party I was going to. and yea, i broke out and now....yea, it grows back thicker. lol, oh well. hope everything turns out ok

Nair or some other chemical hair remover.
You could try bleaching but if your skin is already irritated you need to be careful (even with the Nair).

Waxing needs to have hair to hold onto to pull out. So you will need to wait until the hair grows about 1/4 inch to use a wax.

Until then, just use humor. Laughing at yourself is the best way to deffuse would-be teasing. How about a fleece hoodie?

When I was in highschool, a girl in one of my classes came in with a perfect red circle around her mouth. I asked her what happened and she laughed at herself and said she had sucked the air out of a dringing glass (which resulted in a perfectly shaped "hickey.") LOL. Her ability to laugh at herself while we all laughed as well, was totally cool. She became my friend after that. I like people with a good sense of humor.

First of all this is not the end of the world. Don,t try anything to remove the hair again. You,ve irritated your skin and if your not carefull you may get infection. Perhaps you shouldn,t go to volleyball tomorrow, tell your parents what youv,e done. They will understand, we.ve all done something like this at one time or another, to try to improve our looks. Don,t do anymore to irritate the area. After the area is healed if you are still concerned about the hair, look into having it removed by a professional.

Oh, I'm so sorry you've went through this. I would try to bleach the hair with a creme bleach you can buy at a pharmacy like Walgreen's. If you apply it, only leave it on for the amount of time that it says or it can burn your skin. Good luck. No matter what though, don't be embarrassed, you made a mistake.

Wear a spandex long sleeve shirt under your volleyball tee shirt.
Then see a laser hair removal specialist for long term help.

whoever said where long sleeves underneath is right, say you're cold (girls are always cold), or that you think you might be getting sick. Also hair does not grow back darker or thicker, just itches like crazy
