after having a miscarry i had my normal cycle for 7 days I have yet to recieve my period for the month of November. I did on several occations have intercourse my friend told me you cant get pregnant that is why i did. but here lately i have been having alot of back pain frequent urination, moody and fatigue. i took a test a few days ago it said neg.. could my hcg levels not be high anough to detect yet or the test is true and im not?

Yes, you can be pregnant if you had sex after the miscarriage. You could still have some hormonal changes happening that could cause this too. I'd give it until the end of December and if you still don't have a period, or have more symptoms that concern you .... see a doctor and have them run a test.

It would take a couple weeks for your HCG levels to go back down below 5 (anything at 5 or below is still considered pregnant) so your body's probably still adjusting from your miscarriage. I had an ectopic a couple months ago and the doctor told me it usually takes about a month after your HCGs go to 0 before you have a cycle. Even if you were pregnant you would not be experiencing any symptoms yet b/c it would only be possible for you to be a week or two pregnant at the moment and you wouldn't have any of those symptoms. If you're still doubtful that you're not pregnant wait a week or two and take another test. I hope I was helpful.

I got pregnant 2 weeks after my D&C so yes you can get pregnant. Alot of people so no but my 11 yearold son is living proof. I was shocked as well Go have a blood test to see if your pregnant. Good Luck!
