Watching my dad on a good day; his mind doesn't wander and he actually has some peace, I don't know where it comes from though. I often wonder if it is from the Korean conflict because he fought there and was in the foxholes- I often wish I could take that pain away from him, sadly I cannot so seeing his smile if I can make him laugh or buy something he may enjoy.

Watching my kids grow! Seeing my baby crawl. Watching my daughter get excited because she lost a tooth. My oldest sons growing interest in the Titanic. Those will always be the little things that make me smile.

watching all the cute things my cats do and how they interact with eachother and the world around them
also, seeing how I effect other people. For example I went to my mom's 5th grade class (she's a teacher) and talked to them about my job in the Air Force. Now she sends me e-mails telling me about how the girls in her class at recess play "boot camp" and have name tags,and cut out stars on them.

I just saw how an old gentleman kissed his old lady to her chick in the park and she blushed like a girl...even that nobody saw them...well, just me........It's so little, but so wonderful and happy, wish everyone can have it.
