I was at the butcher today picking up some mutton and putting in an early order for my Christmas prime rib and got to talking with the butcher. Well we talked for quite awhile and when I was walking out the door he said he'd like to give me some hot beef injection, followed by an unsettling wink. Is that one of those fancy injectable marinades? Should I try it? Is it any good?

Just make sure he's wearing a sausage casing when he does it. Salmonella sucks...and apparently your butcher does too!
