The Women's Movement is not dead- no matter what Robert M may think. Some women may just be satisfied with the way things are now. If you want to find out more about The Third Wave of Feminism (today's movement), try going to feminist.com. There is a link to go to a site specifically about the 3rd Wave.

I don't think the Women's Movement is dead, but it has done what it set out to do, for the most part, with the exception of the subject of rape (though there may be areas still needing improvement that I am unaware of)-but is society as a whole better for it-considering the continued existence of death, disease, suffering-has there been an overall improvement or have things basically stayed the same other than the benefits of equal employment? Have the problems of humanity, overall, increased, decreased, or stayed about the same?
The Women's Movement has brought a greater awareness toward the human and divine ideal.

I don't think it's dead, but it's certainly not as strong. Today women have almost all the same rights that men have so theres no reason for the movement.

Women's rights and issues have come a long way. There is not much need for it anymore. We are finally accepted as important members of society, politics and careers. Motherhood and being a wife is the best way to go, regardless of what society thinks about our potential:)

The women's movement is not dead.
I can attest to that being I walk behind it every time I go to the mall. And, it's still great.
