Cut out pics on old Christmas cards--staple to a paper plate that you cut a hole in the middle of--voila, a unique wreath. Add ribbon at the top to hang if you do double-sided, or tape to a window or wall. Easy for kids to do.

Also, shake acrylic paints in glass balls or glass bottles--swirl around different colors--creates look of handpainted or handblown glass but paint is inside. In glass balls--dry upside down in paper/plastic cups.

I take used plastic bottles (juice, water, coffee mate etc), I attach doll heads with either staples or heavy plastic ties (the kind that zip). I then make a cute Christmas outfit to fit around the bottle. You can put sand in the bottom of the bottle before attaching the head to weigh it down so it won't tip over. It seems like a lot of work but once you've made one they're so adorable you'll want to make more!
