I found out that I was having a boy at 16.5 weeks

Between 16 & 18 weeks, most OBs send you for a 20 week ultrasound at which time if baby is cooperative you will be able to tell

They usually give an ultrasound at your 20 week check up that can tell you pretty definitively the sex of the baby. However, amniocentisis can give sooner results (usually done between like 16-18 weeks).

18-20 weeks by ultrasound - IF the baby is cooperating but it's never 100% correct.

ha! both my babies were predicted wrongly...
my son obviously was hiding his thing.. and the nurses thought he was a girl
my daughter I think was holding her fingers in a way that the nurse thought it was a boy...
