My girlfriend and I have been dating about 7 months. We go to different colleges, but we decided it was worth sticking together because we have such a good relationship! Anyways, the holidays are coming up, (so happy holidays everyone!), and Im not sure what to get her. I bought her a very expensive necklace before she left for school, and we both agreed not to go too extravogently on christmas gifts, but I still really want to give her something special. She means a lot to me and sometimes I feel like I'm running out of good ways to tell her. So what should I get her? Everyone make sure you tell your loved ones you love them this holiday season! its the season of giving!

Just in response to some of the options people have giving me so far:
Teddy Bear: I've already given her multiple stuffed animals, one is a set of a guy and girl bear that look like us! One says, "Someone at Northeastern Loves you" (i go to northeastern in boston)
Bracelet: I bought her a bracelet for her birthday last year.
Write her a song: I'm a musician and she knows that a lot of the songs I record with my band are intended for her anyways. Not only that, but i spent a lot of time over the summer actually recording her her own personal song that no one else has heard.
I want to do something really original and romantic... Any ideas?

That's really sweet, I really couldn't tell you the best thing to get her. Since you know her best, or at least you should, so get her something she would use, if she likes to talk get her a new cell phone, if she likes music get her an ipod or something like that. But every item should be topped off by flowers and a kiss. But I'm sure if it came from you, and she loves you, then anything would do for sure. So yeah, Exactly, it's the thought that counts..........

Some things that you may consider:
Flowers - they're beautiful and it always means alot to girls who get them!
Perfume - DKNY made a new scent called "Be Delicious" it's really nice!
A Song - writing a song about how much you love somebody is not only free, but comes from the heart so it means a TON to the person who gets it.
A Build a bear - You can pick it out, make it, and the best part is you can buy a blank sound card and record whatever you want on it, you can say "[your girlfriends name], i love you more than any words can explain. I love you! [your name]" or something similar!

I think you should get her something really meaningful like:
- buy her a star - so romantic
- a photo collage of the two of you, engrave the frame with a personal message.
- If you get her another piece of jewellery maybe engrave it with a personal message

Buy matching necklaces that break apart but when put together say something that is special to the both of you.Engrave something like "love keep us together while we are apart one from another" or something you both agree on something romantic dude.

get her some new video games or a bowling ball..You know, something that you can use. She will be happy about the effort you put forth and best of all you reap all the benefits. Its a win win.

give her some remembrance while she's away....
Something nice that makes her remember you all the time....
a pearl earring.... or a bracelet.. or an anklet..... something that she can put on her body... but if you dont have that much,,, try to go to a specialty store where they print pictures on a shirt...... print your cute picture on a Tee-Shirt...then give each one a rememberance... we do that and it only costs $3.00 here....

if i were your girlfriend, my basic choice is a personal greeting card with a bunch of flowers..
if you're financially loaded, then any kinds of jewelry will do, but to remind you too that diamonds are girls bestfriend.
now, if you're financially restricted/limited, then items like perfumes, cds/dvds, books, etc will do.
