A fraction can be looked at as a math problem. For example,
take the fraction: 3/4. You turn it into a division problem, and divide the upper number (3) by the lower number (4). You will use a decimal point, and the answer is .75.
This works for all fractions.
Another way to look at percents is to think of a hundred pennies make (=) one dollar. 25 cents is one quarter (25%). Get it? 50 cents is one half. Etc. Best wishes.
