I was just wondering if animals do have the same propensities as humans with regard to our muscles when not being used. Cite studies if any are known.

The evolution taught us that animals function differently from humans. We are still doing research to understand why whales do not get cancer. Many animals in nature do not get many of the diseases that humans get.

But then their unique problems are not something humans get too which, I do not know what those unique problems are.

'nuff said. You can't look at them from our perspective. We are created in a unique manner.

I am not going to say "....No, I did not ask them about their sore muscles..." That is a smarty-pants answer. I am sure that is not what you wanted to hear.

I was talking with a bear just the other day, and he said that he's pretty stiff when he first gets up after hibernating. He said he uses liniment for a couple of days and is good as new.

I dont think they have sore muscles after hibernation. Since their system still actively works within them while hibernating. Also, they have a different kind of diet than we do...they don't eat junkies...lol
