People, I did not actually give my dog a piece of chocolate cake. It was a question to test knowledge, not to prove that I'm an idiot. I know that a living animal such as a worm can't appear out of thin air but you would be surprised how many people think that worms can come from fresh human food.

Yes, a dog can get worms from cake or any food substance if it already is infested with the organisms. Have you heard about the worms in Africa that can burrow into your skin and live on your tissue? They will hang out until they are killed or removed and inserted into a cake! LOL!!!

its possible i guess but livestock experiance tell me worm life cycles are 3 weeks so worm once then 3 weeks later. also some worms build a imunity to the same wormer so ya ya got rotate ocasionly better check wit h your vet

do you get worms from eating cake? no? then your dog can't either
chocolate is not deadly to all dogs and cats, ours eat it at least once a week
