Pure water has no vitamins or minerals in it.
Tap water usually has fluoride added to help prevent tooth decay, and chlorine (a gas) to kill germs. It probably has other minerals too, depending on where it comes from, but generally nothing nutritionally significant. It has no vitamins in it.
Water is necessary to life. It is beneficial to drink water, you'll die without it.
