Yes, Proactive worked for me, but after a while my body got immuned to the products chemicals and it stopped working. But yes Proactive works for a while. But the question is, how long will it work for each person... everyone is different... try it out

The dermatologist told my daughter that ProActive was as close as a person could get to a prescription medication for acne. Seeing a dermatolgist for treatment on a regular basis is still the best way to treat the condition.

My buddy had bad acne and used proactiv. It worked for like 2 weeks and then it quit. He tried this product called the face doctor. www.facedoctor.ca and it worked great clearing his face in 3 weeks. A lot of my friends use it now and they had same results.

Its better to go to the dermatologist, a skin doctor. Everyone of us is unique and a doctor can customize the medication just fit for our need. When the acne clears out, there are other medications needed to maintain a good quality skin. good luck !

It didn't help me at all. Of course, neither did the dermatologist, so I have to disagree with that suggeston. All the dermatologist did was prescribe antibiotics that made me sick and didn't help my acne. The only thing that has ever helped me is birth control (ortho tri-cyclen or a generic for it).

My 12 yr. old daughter uses it and I can honestly say it works as well as the celebrity commercials say it does. Granted, I can't get her to use it as regularly as she should, but I can definitely notice a difference in her skin within days of using it. It really is worth the cost.
