Whenever I audition, I take into consideration the part that I'd like to recieve. If you're looking for Sandy, pick something with a sweet sound that's in a higher range which will let you become a timid and innocent character. On the other hand, if you're auditioning for Rizzo, go with something more bold and in-your-face. As for specific songs, it really depends on your voice. For Sandy, "Goodnight my Someone" from Music Man is pretty, or even, "People Will Say We're in Love" from Oklahoma. For Rizzo, I'd choose a lower range song with a lot of attitude. Break a leg!!! Whatever you pick, make sure that you're confident! Confidence is everything! You'll do great!!! Sing your heart out! :-)

What is your vocal range: soprano, mezzo, or alto? We can answer much more affectively with this information.

Wouldn't It be Loverly from "My Fair Lady", I Can't say No from "Oklahoma" or Sixteen going on Seventeen from "The sound of Music"
