i'm trying to clean a large label off of a plastic olive oil bottle. i got the paper and most of the sticky stuff off with warm soapy water but there is still sticky residue. what can i use to get it off so i can use for gifts.

90% isopropal (rubbing) achoal will take it off

Believe it or not peanut butter! Lather some on and leave it overnight - and it should all wipe off the next day. I had a label on my new dishwasher and most of it came off except for the sticky stuff and the peanut butter worked! So far it has worked on everything with a label that I have had to remove! Good luck

i like a product call goo be gone which is made from orange peelings.excellent for black shoe marks on floors,sold at Lowe's on the cleaning product isle in a small plastic squirt bottle.be sure Not to get a product called goof off,it really stinks and is bad.goo smells like oranges and a little tip, i love Lowe's cleaning product called orange blast,cleans everything.

dip the bottle in lukewarm water for sometime n after that clean with the washing liquid it will easily go off.

Try nail polish remover ( it should have acetone in it) or rubbing alcohol

use a single edge razor blade and scrap it off but be careful with the razor
