Hah... I love your questions always. Yes he did cry his way in to the #2 spot, but he will be regretting it when he gets shut out in a championship game. Then the real crying will begin.

Urban Meyer is a great coach but made a huge mistake in calling out Michigan (i.e. "they had their chance", etc.). As a representative of a college football program, you only talk about what you can control, and your accomplishments, etc., never another team.
He is very young and ambitious and did not want to get passed over like Auburn did a few years ago but showed his inexperience and ignorance this weekend, hopefully he will learn a lesson.
P.S. I am probably as big a Michigan fan as you will find. Urban should watch and learn from Lloyd Carr... Go Blue!, sweet revenge on SC baby!

look, the SEC is by far the best conference, the Big Ten is the third best. Bo Schembechler and Lloyd Carr themselves said before the game that there should be no rematch because its not fare to the winning team. should you be arguing with Bo on this???? Florida is #1 for strength of schedule this season, and there only loss was at Auburn on a botched call. Michigan had there chance to step up in Columbus and didnt. Go to the rose bowl, win it and enjoy yourself. I am a die hard OSU fan, and i love the Big Ten, but Michigan got the game they deserved. Sorry.
plus, he is twice the coach Lloyd Carr will ever be.

Stop hatin'! It's over with, and there is nothing anyone can do about it.
Instead of being mad at Urban Meyer, because he campaigned for his team, which I think any coach should do no matter what the situation is, be more mad at Michigan because they didn't beat Ohio, and be more mad at the BCS.
But if somehow florida beats ohio, because no one can predict the future, then get over it, because it will show that florida deserved it more than anyone else!

Much better that we would have let Carr and his Wolverines whine to get their way in, so that he could go 1-6 vs. Tressel.

yes, because it is of course so classless for a coach to lobby for his team to get credit for what they have done this season. it's not classless, you wouldn't be moaning and groaning if michigan was number 2. it's incredibly sill and inane to think that what the coach says actually made a difference in the vote, and if it did, well then it's only because he brought up points that voters thought were valid. but since it didn't make a difference, then who cares what he was saying since it doesn't matter? the voters don't suddenly change their votes just because one of the coaches asks them to
