Hi all....
I bought these shoes(in tan) at Old Navy cause' I thought they were cute.

http://www.oldnavy.com/browse/product.do?cid=17092&pid=399685

Now that I have them home...I"m pondering what to wear with them? I tried them on with a pair of jeans and they look pretty ok. If I wear them with jeans...should I wear socks with them? I'm not talking about true socks but like knee highs or pantyhose material type socks. Or...my other option is to wear them with no socks? That's fine and dandy with me but will I look stupid without socks in the dead of winter.??.IN WISCONSIN none the less..LOL. Gosh..maybe I shouldn't have bought them at all?? Errrrrr??? Help? Oh yeah...another question while I'm at it....I purchased this shirt and absolutely love it!!!!

Do you think I could pull off the mary jane wedges with this shirt? I"m just not sure if the colors/patterns/materials go well together? Ok..I need your help...Thanks so much!!

Cute shoes - get why you bought them - but don't wear them in the snow (giggle) They would look great with tights, a mini and a brown, Burgundy, navy or beige sweater or even slacks/cords with light weight wool socks and a navy or Burgundy sweater. Better for drier days though or even school dances (carry in and switch) they are really cute for wintry skirt sets.
The top is better suited to jeans (black or blue) and black shoes or boots the tan would look odd.
Hope this helped!

Well, they're fall shoes, not winter shoes. Flesh-colored socks might be ok as long as they're not really thick. Jeans would be ideal with those shoes. Or khakis. Certain shades of corduroy would also work. Those shoes would work with that top & maybe some brown pants (like the ones they sell at Old Navy). Or khakis with brown/gold accessories. It would work, but like I said, none of what you have is winter clothing.

no offense or something, yet hautexcouture is stable. preppy isn't abercrombie or hollister. many times, those chain shops are form of california surfer fairly than preppy, however abercrombie is extra east coast and hollister is west. particularly, a real prep is somebody who likes fundamentals and clothing form of conservatively. think of collared shirts below sweaters or cable -knit cardigans. like in movies, those golfing-usa club wealthy human beings. like polo ralph lauren or brooks brothers or some thing. besides, you're definition of preppy is only what young human beings many times discuss with themselves as, whether this isn't any longer. the footwear are no longer the main suitable, they may well be gorgeous if it have been in a diverse coloration.
