Example: Romo led Dallas to a victory last week with a great performance but only had 4.00 fantasy points...all the scoring
was via the run. The previous week, he scored 40 fantasy
points, but all the scoring was via the pass.

sometimes it's both but it can also depend on league settings...i'm in one private league that really rewards kickoff and punt returns, so players like devin hester are pure money...but is he the mvp? no way....
usually QB's are the biggest point makers in fantasy, that and LT...so it's debatable at least....

I'm assuming you mean rankings as what is found under categories such as Projected and Actual Rank. Projected Rank is what Yahoo’s experts deem as the best fantasy players for a given time (like the entire season, a specific week, etc). Actual Rank is strictly tied with the previous performances and the position that a particular player plays. As you saw with Tony Romo, just because a player is ranked highly does not necessarily mean that he will produce each and every week at a high level. With that said, projections and rankings in fantasy are specifically relating to fantasy.

Tomlinson is by far the best fantasy player. Then you got Peyton who puts up great numbers at the QB spot. I also generate alot of points from Bryan Westbrook.
