Human being always think that he is the height of creation....most of the time self appraisal...telling he is so so...boosting among themselves.....but when he turn round and see how insignificant he is before other creation....for example a cat knows how to keep its place neat....even to clear its bowl it goes out side and find a soil and dig a small pit and then closing it after finish of its business....I think all creation are height of uniqness of its own species.....therefore man can stop telling he is the height of creation.. I am sure this way of thinking has more rational behind it.

Your example for claiming that animals are of a higher creation than humans is a cat that can clean itself, eat all the food in a bowl and dig a hole to crap in and then cover it up? Are you serious? I can do all those things, plus type this answer, engage in higher order thinking, create or destroy, save that cat's life, improve the lives of others in countless ways, console another person when depressed, share in another's joy when happy, come up with cures to diseases that ravage humans and animals, manipulate the laws of physics, speak more than my native language, create art, music, literature, etc., ad infinitum. Give me a break.

Are all animals glorious in their own right? Of course they are. Are they of a higher order than humans? I think not.

Why don't you ask the cat his opinion? Or the bat or the cow or the dolphin or the chimpanzee?

I believe most of this thinking is of European and Middle Eastern genesis. Christians and Muslims both believe that animals belong to a lower stratum of life, all the time forgetting that humans are just as much animals as the rest of us creatures

Humans think we are the height of creation because we can communicate amongst ourselves but not with other creatures. Also religious beliefs add to this. If God created us in his image...that means we are closer to God than other creatures on the Earth.

I see you are well informed, in a evolutionary fashion. You needed to bring these thoughts over to the biology section, as I am not sure of the reception you will receive here. We will see.
