my boy friend wants to get his lip pierced, but will it heal later on if he takes it out or will the hole stay there or scar?

i got my lip peirced, and it rubbed my teeth really bad and made them sore so i took it out, i have a lil spot where it use to be and it wont go away. its not BAD but you still can kinda see it. i can get an earing in the hole still but its really tight. but it all just depends on how long you keep it in befor you take it out, i only had mine in for not even a month and it wont completly heal closed. but like i said the lil scar aint bad, its jus a lil spot like how it is with your ears, if you have them peirced n take out the earing thats what it looks like on my lip. hope this helps :-)

It will heal after taking it out - it just takes time. There will probably always be a small spot there - but nothing noticable and most certainly not a giant gaping hole. You just gotta make sure that your Boy looks after it when it is first pierced so that there is no infection or damage to the skin around.

Small scar.
I love all my piercings, they are in and out when I want and the scar is just proof I had the guts and originality to get them and enjoy them.
10 years from now you'll see alot of 'scars' of a youthful era of time that's past and has been replaced by....who knows what's next!? Masks to look like our fav celebrity?

it will stay after it heals and is pierced for maybe 6months to a year .. but there will be a lil hole always there

The myspace image did not artwork, yet in my opinion i imagine that you do not look o.k. with a lip ring. Or a minimum of in that image. in case you strengthen out your hair type of lengthy i imagine it ought to look more advantageous suited. in case you'll somewhat not, try a nostril piercing. i imagine it ought to look large on you. or possibly even a toungue piercing that no you should ensure (they're relaxing to play with). good luck!!! =D -Jazzi-

all holes heal no matter what. and all scarring can be reduced with scar repair lotion. dont worry.

no that is nasty if i had aboyfriend that pierced his lip i would break up with him. what if something happened to his lip and it got gang-reen that's straight nasty,even if it does heal
