Many coasts, all beautiful. Some of my favorites were the southern coast of Turkey, the Algarve in Portugal, The Costa Brava in Spain, the west coast of India in Goa, The Australian Gold Coast and many others. If it's next to an ocean, I'm there,

Central California, around Monterey and San Francisco. Monterey California and Big Sur are about the most beautiful shorelines I have ever seen. Instead of just plain white sand beaches, they are craggy cliffs and crashing waves.
Another beautiful shoreline is the Canadian side of Niagara Falls. Once you get past the deafening sound of the waves, it really is a spellbinding experience to sit and watch the waves.
One other place that I have seen that is beautiful is the Caspian Sea. I stayed there a few weeks and instead of white sand, the beaches are covered with beautiful stones of all colors. The water is a beautiful shade of blue and grey, and the weather is serene. Five minutes in either direction will take into the most beautiful wooded lands for hiking, or you can hike the shoreline for miles.
Hard to find an ugly coast, though...

I've been to a cruise to Mexico from New Orleans and to the Virginia coast (Hampton, VA, and Chesapeake Bay area). All were beautiful. There was just something special about the Atlantic though. I don't really think I can describe it, but that is the most calm and alive I have ever felt.

I've been on alot of beautiful coasts. Key West, St Thomas Virgin Islands, Naples Italy, Corfu Greece, Antalya Turkey, Cannes France, Haifa Israel, Dubrovnik Croatia.

two coasts that stand out would be the oregon coast and ireland. i think ireland takes the cake. some of the most breath taking scenery i have ever seen in my life.
also the coast of california is good in a nice day. especialy driving down 101

The Outer Banks off the coast of North Carolina--Absolutely the most gorgeous place to vacation!!

I live on a beach in California........the central coast. I get to see the ocean everyday and I wouldn't trade it for the entire rest of the world.

Yes, I've been to the coast of Oregon at Newport and it was awesome.
