I have a kitten, and I just got an LCD monitor to replace my big bulky CTR. The problem is that my kitten seems to like this monitor even better than the old one, and every once in a while she feels compelled to paw at the screen and (I'm guessing) try to knock my mouse cursor onto my desk. Now I know it's generally not good to touch/apply pressure to LCD screens; do ya'll think that my kitten's little paws are going to do any damange (i.e., do I need to start some intensive squirt bottle training)? Or are her paw-swipes too light to make any difference?

To be safe you can also get a SCREEN PROTECTOR and they have them on amazon.com

I love cats - but this is pretty much a squirt bottle situation, unless you want to buy a new LCD.

The old CRT screens can happily absorb abuse, and last pretty much forever... LCD/TFT screens are much more sensitive (you really should never touch them except for cleaning) and even little kitty paws and claws can cause permanent damage.

I'm sorry...

it depends on how often you care to replace your monitor its not good for anything at all to touch the monitor and if you can afford it more power to ya, but animals on computer equipment is unheard of but im a mom ,nag, nag right ,seriousily only use products made for your monitor to touch it with ,or you might have to buy a new one...

Put a mad dog wallpaper or screen saver on your new LCD.
