I liked best were the tons of games available for the console. There were hundreds of games for each genre. Also the light-gun along with Duck Hunt was pretty awesome. Finally, the fact that you could easily pick up the controller and learn how to play was a very big positive. My parents even played it sometimes because it was just that easy. Only the D-pad, and two buttons: A and B. No R1, R2, L2, L1, etc... unlike today's consoles where they have quite a few buttons.

Everything, it was simple and you could pick up a new game and figure out how to play it in one minute, if you were playing a game with a friend who had not played before, it was still a halfway even game, not 15 buttons to figure out and what freaking order you have to hit them in, haha. I personally went on ebay last yeat and got all of the old games that I loved like Super Tecmo and baseball stars, Metroid, and Double Dribble, games don't get better than the original Nintendo.

Well, it was all we really had at the time... and I only really remember playing Final Fantasy and Super Mario Bros on it, it was so long ago and I was so little...
But I will never forget the NES light gun. <3 That thing was so neat.
