how does this man still think he is the best ref around with a dreadful showing like that...i dont support arsenal or spurs, but those penalty decisions were awful...who thinks he should be demoted or just sacked cos in my opinion he really is useless

I concur with you that he had a terrible match (he's had several of those lately, hasn't he?) For that reason, i don't think Poll should be no 1 ref anymore. I think it got to his head a little. No one is bigger than the game. Anyone is expendable.
However i don't think he's useless. He could be demoted for a fortnight or so- let him get his act together, then be given a chance to prove himself. On his day, he is one of the world's best.
I was really impressed by the ref for the Utd:Chelsea match. (Webb, was it?)

The thing is...
He actually is one of the best refs in the league and in all honesty in world football. He was all set to have the inside track for the World Cup Final until he lost the plot in the last twenty minutes of the Croatia v Australia game, during his first two outings he had the top marks out of all the referees at the tournament.
He certainly hasn't had a good few weeks but I think there is little doubt he is still better than most, whether that says more about him or his colleagues is another matter altogether...

If a ref is constantly makin bad decisions then an investigation should be made into his work ethic. Being a Spurs fan I was absolutely gutted and angry. Just when we were starting to get things together and play well ....Graham Poll is back to cast his big black shadow over what should have been a great game...

My husband is a spurs supporter so right now he thinks Graham Poll should be Hung,Drawn and Quartered, and then sacked and never allowed to ref a professional game again.

Um, G? i'd be incorrect, yet i imagine docs CAN tell. Fraternal twins are 2 different eggs, at the same time as similar is one split egg, so i imagine they could tell a split egg from 2 eggs. This man or woman likely is a troll, and once lower back i'm likely incorrect, yet are you able to make sparkling? Ooh, i change into going to decline, yet Aurora is so quite i'd use it as a center. i'd use my favourite boys call, because Im no longer large on Newland or any similar names.

all refs in this country are dire - why cant we produce independant fair and good refs- poll shouldnt be allowed to ref after what he did in the world cup as an umpire he should know the rules and he constantly gets them wrong

Calling this git is an insult to gits. after that Chelsea/Spurs fiasco he should've been sacked. He jinxed 3pts out of the Blues.
