For one thing, there is a distinct middle ground between what one might consider as fat and supermodel skinny, and I happen to find girl's in this range to be the most beautiful. Supermodel skinny girls look unhealthy to me for the most part, and have zero curves. (and by curves I don't mean fat. I mean the basic bodily features that a woman is supposed to have that typically distinguish a woman's body from that of a twelve year old boy.) I'm a size 4 BTW, and I'm not just hatin' on models here. It's just my opinion. To each their own though I suppose.

They don't! or only when they are acting provocative, and only then. All my friends prefer a curvaceous girl; perhaps we are attracted to that is because we as men do not look like that, so of course we are going to be drawn to that. I don't think it is the norm for a guy to like a skinny girl; a read somewhere that is was considered a 'fetish'. All men love girls w/curves who are not stick thin.

I think you have fat phobia. I don't mean obese people either, but anyone with an ounce of body fat scares the crap out of you. Honestly, see a doctor, get some help, don't let this obsession wreck your life. HTH : )

Well, alot of the times, they are wearing almost nothing. But their long slim shape makes them appealing in most clothes. They also have to have pretty faces to be a super-model.

well people tell me that i'm wicked skinny, but when i look at myself i don't think so! lol
i guess anyone can find their own imperfections but to others you seem perfect...
um why do supermodels turn people on? IDK!! lol
but it feels good when people tell you that you could be a model...i have the awesome head of hair! ;-) lol
but i would rather be a violinist than a model

Because most of them aren't as skinny as people make out. Now Mary-Kate Olsen and Lindsay Lohan, THAT'S skinny.

define skinny? are you going with supermodel skinny or the healthy/athletic skinny? they turn people on because of the basic biological need to reporduce and we want to so it with the most that we are attracted to, and supermodels are the epitimy of that lust, because of their sex appeal.

people are naturally attracted to babies.
petite and skinny people have larger heads compared to their body size, making them look more like babies.
Almost all babies have large eyes, another trait people are instinctively attracted to. Slimmer faces look like they have bigger eyes.

im skinny but i wanna be average weight...im guessing that guys like the fact that models could wear whatever they want and look good in it
