well i had my nose broken and i havent had any pain. I mean it did swell up and all of that i went to er and the doctor said it must hurt and i told him it doesnt hurt at all. Anyways i didnt want any surgeries or anything and i have a little curved nose which doesnt bother me. So why does everyone keep saying it hurts when you break it since i havent had any pain.

actuly i was hit by a bastard but anyways i didnt feel it and i only noticed it was broken because i was bleeding and i touched it and bone was moving

I have broken my nose when i was in a car accident with a drunk driver. My head hit the windshield and my nose just broke. It was real painful, however my friend broke his as well and he had no pain. maybe its the way he broke it. It really depends on the person. I think people say it hurts because maybe they have never broken one and it does look painful

Well, I have broken someone's nose and they screamed for about an hour. It was a total accident...sledding on cafeteria trays while in college...Anyways, you may have damaged the nerve in your nose and that is why it doesn't hurt.

well, since the nose is more cartilage than bone, it really shouldn't hurt if you break it in the mid-part. put the upper part does. like if you get punched and the punch brings your nose upward, it will hurt. it is even fatal. just be glad you broke it in a nice way :D

Everybody has a different level of pain tolerance....yours seems higher than most. Be thankful.
