I was hit in the face, just above the lip and below the nose, with a flaming marshmallow. We were at a family cookout, and I was 13 years old. Us kids were roasting marshmallows to make s'mores, and my cousin's marshmallows caught fire. He was deathly afraid of fire, and swung around screaming just as I was walking up with mine. I spent the next three months going to a burn treatment center every day to have it taken care of. Meantime I walked around with tubes sticking up both nostrils and the whole thing covered with a mask- with holes for the tubing to stick out. I looked like a human walrus with those tusks, and it hurt all the time. I was lucky I wasn't scarred badly, but the daily wound cleaning was excruciating for weeks. To this day, I dislike s'mores and I never toast my marshmallows because the odor makes me ill. At least I have learned to laugh about the memory, but it's not an injury I'd care to repeat.

When I was 14, I got jumped by 6 guys that were all 18 to 20. Two guys held me while the other 4 beat my face and body. Then they held me by my feet and tried to pound my head into the street. The last thing I remembered was laying on the ground, and see a big pointed shoe coming at my head.

Funny thing was that it really didn't hurt until the next day, when I woke up in the hospital. Fractured skull, 4 broken ribs, 3 teeth gone, and a dislocated hand and shoulder. Ruptured spleen and bruised kidneys. One big hurt!

When I was 10 years old I was playing tag with 2 of my friends. We would run around the house, through the garage, out the backdoor and around again, trying to catch one another.

When it was my turn to be caught, I slipped on the mat in front of the backdoor and went right through the glass door that had been closed on accident by my mom, just a few seconds earlier.

I flew through the door and ended up with 93 stiches in my head, face, wrists and arms. No more tag for me after that!

When my car was hit by a drunk driver. I broke my nose, cracked a few ribs and got plenty of bruises. I was less than a mile home from getting a coke at the gas station and thought what could happen to me in the middle of the night. so i did not put on a seat belt. always always wear a seat belt. no matter how close to home you are.

One time, I was putting a car up on a jack, one of those old jacks that attaches to the bumper on an older car, and I didn't have it on there good enough and it slipped out and hit me in the head. Very hard. Big old car too.
