Is anyone actually wanting the truth or do you want to live decieved by what the media, Doctors and politicians are saying about aboriton? If you want the truth look up a story of an 18 year old girl, baby was born alive and murdered in Miami Dade county, November 2, 2006. Police have shut down the abortion clinic and are looking into MURDER charges! If it wasn't a baby just tissue why was it alive and why would we be looking at murder charges? The truth it is not a choice! It was a choice when the woman had sex! Murder is never and option!

I agree,
"Abortion is like a rabbits foot, for the killer takes his wages, and the woman perceives herself to be lucky but all in the end is at the expense of the rabbit".

This was a late abortion. Personally I don’t agree with late abortions bc the child is viable like this one was. And we ALL know that its not a bunch of cells! The child has a heartbeat a body formed by the time they prefer the abortion (generally between 10-13 weeks) I think as long as the woman is armed with the information and she still decides to do it its up to her she has to live with her decision not me. My mind is clear on judgment day. So I consider myself to be Pro-choice I don’t think it should be up to politicians what we do! But up to the individual

EDIT:

The difference is the if its legalized Politicians Give you and OPTION

If its banned you don’t have an option its you don’t do it and that’s it.

Another debate now is if they do ban it women are still going to do it! Now i would rather a women go to a safe clean authorized place and have one done by a licensed professional than to someone’s house where they will stick a crochet needle in the woman or a hanger and perform the abortion at home and now not only did we loose a baby but also a mother, daughter, sister aunt someone who for what ever reason (I’m not one to say when its okay and when it isnt) made up their mind and wanted an abortion they are going to get it legalized or not.

Abortion isn’t a "NEW" topic women have been doing herbal abortions for many many years now only difference is now a medical professional is doing it

I am 32 and not ready for a baby.
Sure glad I didn't decide to be ready for a baby to have sex. I would be forty and still a virgin!
Get realistic.
Truth is, we should thank our lucky stars that abortion exists. Saves using rusty coat hangers which is what woman used to do. Just imagine the crime escalation if every baby conceived was born. Should every junkie that concieves have the child? I think not. How many neglected children would later end up in mental institutions for lack of love and emotional support from their parents. I think life is testing enough and I think babies who are unwanted are better off going back to the spiritual world.

I just want to point out to all the people out there who say "adoption is always an option", if adoption is really another option why do some many kids get stuck in foster care and never end up being adopted. There are currently 120,000 children in the USA waiting to be adopted. That does not include the kids in foster care that are not up for adoption. Do you think it is fair to bring a child into this world and give it up for adoption when there is a great chance that child may never end up being adopted?

Keep your abortion rants to yourself, and by the way, this does not sound like an abortion at all. Get your facts straight before making judgement, if judging is something you feel you have the right to do.

I am sooo with you girl!! And to wizard lady, maybe more people would adopt if they didnt make you pay for it. They are out there charging thousands of dollars just so someone can bring a child into there home, if so many kids need a home, why not let them adopt for free? And no matter how you look at it, abortion is murder weather the baby was in the womb or not. If the baby has a heart beat it is a human being, and it shouldn't be punished for someone Else's mistakes.

We are never going to get everyone to agree on this issue 100%. Some beieve that it is morally wrong to have an abortion, others, myself included feel that it is a womans right to chose. However, that being said, if the baby was delivered and breathing when this happened, that would equal murder.

The USA is a free country so one can't push their beliefs on others. Having said that if the baby was indeed alive and born and then killed the doctor and all involved should be charged with murder.

You said the baby was BORN alive. That's the difference when it comes to the law. That story has nothing to do with abortion.

**I finally found a site with the article that was not a pro-life website and I can't even understand what actually happened. She was still within the legal 24-week limit for an abortion but it sounds like they botched it. Very disturbing but it seems like she gave 'birth' only because the dialation drugs made her miscarry.

Unless you have lived through an ordeal where that choice was all you had- you shouldn't judge. Every person's situation is different, everyone's beliefs are different, everyone has the right to choose what is best for their families and their specific situation. I believe that people should remain open-minded to other's plights, and until you have walked in their shoes, you can't have much to say on the situation.

After reading the article (and I suggest you re-read it), it was not an abortion. The girl gave birth in the examining room.

Yes, the clinic workers might well be guilty of murder if the fetus is determined to have been viable--able to live outside the womb.

Our fore-mothers knew the truth.
Alice Paul, advocate of voting rights for women and the author of the 1923 Equal Rights Amendment, had this to say:
"Abortion is the ultimate exploitation of women."
Her story is portrayed in the movie "Iron Jawed Angels," but her position on this point was left out.
