In the Harris poll there was a guy who had Florida first!!!!(what how does he have Florida first, how can he explain this!)
There were also like 5 guys who had Michigan 4th!!!(interesting?)
And of course there were like 60+ coach swing which went to Florida.
What does this signify to you? To me its pretty simple.
The voters were voting against a rematch and not for the best two team in the country!(sounds pretty unfair and wrong to me)

I hate to say it but it sounds like you might be right. These voters don't vote for the best. There's politicking always going on in these things. The Heisman doesn't usually go to the best player like it's supposed to.

I can't argue with you when it comes to the polls being a crock of sh.... It looks really shady for the voters to have swung like that. You have a right to be upset. That said Florida is the #2 team in the country... they played more ranked opponents than Michigan and their opponents had the best win percentage in the country. You can cry on the shoulders of 2003 LSU fans and 2004 Auburn fans.

are some of yall morons. MICHIGAN DID NOT WIN THEIR CONFERENCE. case closed. FLORIDA WON THEIR CONFERENCE. case closed. I am a firm believer that teams who win their conference have more of leg to stand on when it comes to gaining a NC bid. Michigan never led in the game against OSU. We dont need a playoff system because there would be more griping because of the 5-10 teams who felt they didnt get a chance by being in the playoff. Answer that one some of you? How would you pick and choose who are the best 8 teams in the country to play for a national championship? Would Boise St and Rutgers be in the top 8?

right it is an answer from someone who somewhat lives right here: Detroit has been difficulty to many hardships which include the systematic brutalization of blacks with techniques from police interior the Nineteen Forties with techniques from rigidity a job stress that were an major component to the artwork stress for the duration of a time of "market" so we fell in the back of nationwide averages. Then the excellent "white flight" of the Fifties suggested many whites leaving by way of large numbers of blacks and varnish immigrants (polish human beings were discriminated heavily interior the U.S. once upon a time) Then got here the destruction of a lot of downtown with the race riots of the Sixties. The 1970-80s suggested the mismanagement of the city with techniques from new officials. It replaced into sure to ensue even as 80 5% of political workplaces suggested a turnover rapidly so actually absolutely everyone they could discover replaced into positioned into power. That low bar exists right now. The Nineties suggested the most excellent mismanagement with techniques from a Board of training that i have ever heard of ensuing in academic inequalities to copy the financial ruin set in action with techniques from the riots. interior right here decade, the vast 3 had considered more advantageous suited days and required a bailout (not Ford) which extra impoverished communities. also, there replaced into an major flight from the city of human beings that did bypass to school; a mind-drain befell this is comparable to assert docs fleeing some parts of India for more advantageous suited opportunities. even as the activities of the 90s led to HS commencement costs of lower than 50% That being suggested, I nonetheless believe in my city. there have been some significant improvements, extremely downtown, and we stay a culturally wealthy and traditionally significant city. If different different commenters (which have probably by no skill been, yet ought to have considered 8 Mile) imagine my city is administered-down or previous saving this is their employer, i ought to probably say a similar of their mom.

I found something really funny this morning, it was an article titled: "Michigan BLUE it." I'm not a fan of either team, but if you are powerful enough to change the fact that the Gators earned their spot, then be my guest. If not, just ACCEPT it, don't like it? nobody is forcing you to watch the game.
edit// how about Louisville? They got beaten only once too. Why were they ranked #6. For me, they deserve to be playing for the national title too. Small conferences are part of the NCAA too.

The guy who voted for Florida first was probably Urban Meyer, coach of the gators.
Michigan probably was jobbed, but you had your chance in Columbus. A decent effort in a tough venue, but the game wasn't as close as the score indicated. Enjoy the Rose Bowl, it should be a good game.

It can easily explained by stating one very simple fact.
the u of m wolvereenies are NOT worthy of being rated as high as they are.
Get over it, already!
Contary to your believe, the u of m wolvereenies are NOT the center of the universe (sorry to bust your bubble).

Ah, once again, we all can't look at someone's entire schedule and only look to one game. How typical.
Try leaving your trailer park now and again to figure things out, would ya?
