Nope.

I'm the mom of two reflux babies (grade 4). All babies reflux to some extent; some reflux more, and some are more bothered by it.

The valve will strengthen on its own as your baby grows. You don't say how old he is, but most kids start improving pretty dramatically by the time they're 9-12 months old.

There really is no safe way to stop him spitting. Nor is there any reason to do it.

My son did this a lot and I was told it would get better once he could st up as his stomach would be stronger but it didn't make that much diference he just slowly grew out of it and is hardly ever sick now he is 15 months. I did find that changing his bottle to a podee bottle helped a little bit. For mre information about the bottles go to www.podeebottles.co.uk. I hope it helps.

Not according to most research.

Babies tend to get better around 6 months, though some that never spit up start to around then. It is only around 12 months that the majority of babies stop.

Also, in many cases the "cures" are by far worse than the problem.

I think it's just something that works itself out, there's really nothing you can do to help it develop better. Make sure after he feeds that you sit him up for about 10 minutes, don't bounce him around etc..... it will pass. If it's really bad, you can have him sleep on a slight incline.

sounds like your ped.s docter needs to take a closer look at your child. Something could be wrong with his digestion tract / stomach.
